MEDICAL DETOX FOR ALCOHOL AND ANTICRAVING MEDICATIONS TO HELP PREVENT RELAPSE
Confidential Outpatient Treatment for Alcohol Abuse
At Care First TMS Center, We recognize that depression could trigger more alcohol use as self medication. It’s crucial to manage depression symptoms as part of any alcohol or drug treatment program.
For those who have tried antidepressant medication while using alcohol or any other drugs found the experience to be less than successful, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) may be just the right treatment to help achieve a more positive result.
Care First is an effective, medically oriented alternative to a 28-day or residential facility for alcohol rehab and alcohol addiction treatment. Because we are outpatient in nature, our patients can achieve lasting results with minimal disruption to their work and family lives.

Outpatient medical detoxification from alcohol is not safe for everyone. There is always a risk of seizure and/or development of life threatening withdrawal symptoms with unstable vital signs. If you are interested in outpatient detoxification from alcohol, Dr. Wassef will assess your safety for this type of treatment. You must have a friend or family member to stay with you at least during the first 24 hours of your detox.
There are now a different number of medications that are available to help people reduce or stop their drinking.
We use anti-craving medications that decrease the rewarding feeling from drinking to help you maintain your sobriety. In addition, In case of lapse or relapse while taking these medications, you will not experience any side effects. Relapse could be used as a learning experience and not as a punishment like old medications.
